Hunger-Ren is a designer from Hangzhou with a deep appreciation for traditional textile craftsmanship. She studied textile design at the China Academy of Art, specializing in color, dyeing, and weaving. Her passion for heritage led her to travel to ethnic minority villages in Guizhou Province, where she learned firsthand about classical handicrafts, natural dyeing techniques, and the history behind these age-old traditions.

She works with hand-dyed fabrics made from natural materials like potato, tea, and mugwort, as well as Xiang Yun Sha, a rare Chinese heritage textile. Every piece she creates reflects a deep respect for traditional techniques, with carefully placed stitches that feel both intentional and timeless.
